Ransomed By His Life

Ransomed By His Life

SATURDAY
JULY. 29

Mark 10:45, John 8:36, John 10:10 (GNB)
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. *If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. *The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life---life in all its fullness.

The ransom that needs to be paid for you to be free from every situation that is not the will of God for your life has been fully paid by Jesus. That situation you may be facing right now was included in Christ’s death. That is why He came. He paid your ransom and He set you free. And as such, you are free indeed. All you have to do is receive your freedom by believing and confessing it with your mouth and you will be saved, Rom.10:9-10. Because Jesus is Lord of your life, He has exercised His power and lordship over that situation on your behalf.

You are the redeemed of the Lord so say it out loud. Your ransom has been fully paid. That situation does not have a right to hold your captive any more. It is finished. If you believe, you will see the glory and power of God manifesting in your life right now. Psalm 107:1-2 says, O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

The root of that situation is the fall of man which came about by Adam’s sin but what Christ has done has overturned all the negative effects of Adam’s sin and given you a superior position in life, Rom.5:17. By the grace and righteousness of Christ, you will live completely free from that situation and you will reign victoriously by His life. Jesus did not only pay the ransom for your freedom. He has given you a new life. You now have His own life in you so you cannot be bound by that situation anymore. Right now, receive the fullness of the freedom and the life of Christ in every area of your life.

PRAYER FOCUS: Thank God for the freedom and life Christ has given to you. Declare that you are free and reigning by the life of Christ.
