Grace to dominate in your Environment

Isaiah 32:12-15 (NKJV)
People shall mourn … for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine. On the land of my people will come up thorns and briers, yes, on all the happy homes in the joyous city; Because the palaces will be forsaken, The bustling city will be deserted. The forts and towers will become lairs forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks— Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.

As believers, we do not depend on our physical environment for our sustenance. God supplies all our needs, not according to our environment but according to His riches in glory in Christ (Phil.4:19) then through us He flows out into our environment. In John 7:38-39, Jesus said it is out of your belly (inner man) that 'rivers' of living waters will flow, and He was talking about the Holy Spirit that is in you now. Do you remember how God caused a river with four heads to water the Garden of Eden, Gen.2:10-14? That's how God is causing you right now to water your environment and turn it into a Garden of Eden, Eze.36:34-35. You will give life to everything around you.

Your environment will never intimidate or limit you. You will always dominate and transform your environment. You are the hope of your environment; because of the Life and Power of Christ that is in you. Take over the atmosphere. David played his harp and an evil spirit left Saul, 1Sam.16:23. Because you are there, no power of darkness will prevail in that environment anymore. You will prosper in that environment and you will make that environment prosperous. Our text above says that the wilderness becomes a fruitful field because the Spirit of God is poured out upon 'us'; and not upon the environment! We are the ones who turn the wilderness into a fruitful field. Speak the mind of God into your environment. Command mountains to move and declare the favour and blessings of God to manifest in that environment; command things to work and they will work.

PRAYER FOCUS: Take charge over your environment right now and begin to speak and decree God's mind and Will over it.
