Unleashing Your Unlimited Potential

Unleashing Your Unlimited Potential

FRIDAY
AUGUST. 18

2Kings 4:4-6
And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

Our text above recounts the story of the widow of a prophet who ran to Elisha to complain about the desperate situation she was in. Creditors were coming to take her two sons because of their huge debt and she had nothing but a little oil in her house. Elisha instructed her to get empty vessels from her neighbours, shut the door behind her and her sons and to start pouring the oil into the vessels until they were full. Miraculously, that little oil kept flowing until her sons confirmed that there were no more vessels to fill. She sold the oil in the vessels, paid their debts and lived off the rest, 2Kings 4:7.

Elisha gave her divine direction for the release of the unlimited potential of what she had with her but did not value. There are things you have that you think are ordinary or worthless, but God will use them to do extraordinary things. God will breathe upon them by His Spirit and you will use them to accomplish exploits. As you open your mouth and prophesy over yourself and the people, assets, ideas, products and responsibilities that you been placed in your realm of influence, a divine unction is coming upon you and them to multiply and do exploits.

The prophet’s widow became a distributor of something she had not even valued. She became a solution provider. A similar miracle will happen in your life. Just as Elisha divinely knew what she had to do to experience this unbelievable miracle, by the Spirit of God in you, you have the ability to know God’s mind, to declare it and to receive divine direction and blessings from God, 1Cor.2:9-12.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, may the fresh breath of Your Spirit come upon me and upon all that I have so that I will do great things indeed.
