Value and Take Good Care of God’s Sheep   SUNDAY AUGUST. 27
	Acts 20:28 (NIV), John 21:17 (NIV) Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. *The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” …Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” It is a tremendous privilege to be used by God to serve and minister to His children in any capacity at all. The work God is doing among His flock is invaluable and significant to God. It is a work with eternal value. Every child of God is very valuable to God. Remember that God paid for every one of us with the precious blood of Jesus His Son. Always remember that they belong to God and you will give account to God for how you have served, ministered and been a blessing to His children. Endeavour to reassure God’s children of their value in the way that you love, serve and minister to them. Do not be discouraged in your love and service to God’s children. Instead, remain passionate and intentional about following God’s leading. God Himself will reward you greatly for your love and service to His children. Luke 12:42-44 (NKJV) says, “and the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has.” Selflessly and willingly feed God’s children with the love and truth of the gospel of Christ. In the Good News Bible, 1Peter 5:2 says, ... be shepherds of the flock that God gave you and to take care of it willingly, as God wants you to, and not unwillingly. Do your work, not for mere pay, but from a real desire to serve. As you thank God for His children and pray for them, God will continue to empower and direct you so that you can continue to be a blessing to them. PRAYER: Ask God to continue to empower and direct you to love, serve and be a blessing to His house and His children.
