I and They!

Isaiah 8:18, Mark 16:17-18
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. *And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Today is exactly 20 years since my dear husband, Archbishop Benson Idahosa went to be with the Lord in glory. I am so grateful to God for the life that he lived and for the great impact and influence he had on my life and upon the lives of so many millions of people. This scripture in our text above today is one that he not only believed in and quoted but also exemplified perfectly with his own life. God Almighty clearly showed us through him that all things are possible to whosoever will believe, Mark 9: 23. Just like Jeremiah, he fed on the Word of God and he loved God so much that his faith and passion for God were like fire in his bones, Jer.20:9. He had an unprecedented passion to serve God and preach the gospel of Jesus to as many people in as many nations of the earth possible. He believed and manifested the supernatural power of God in a way that amazed and blessed the lives of so many people. He was a man of vision and daring faith.

Do you believe God? Where you come from does not matter and what you are going through right now is not a limitation for God. If only you will believe, you will see the glory of God in your life, John 11:40. In Christ you are made for signs and wonders. You will not run here and there looking for signs and wonders, signs and wonders will follow you because you believe in Jesus, Mark 16:15. That vision that God has given to you shall come to pass! Your life will be a reference point and it will point people to how amazing God is. Your life will attract people to come and see and know the God that you are serving. From your life, people will know that your God is alive. Keep on trusting God and keep on running with the passion to serve Him, preach the gospel and touch lives with God's amazing and glorious power. You are above only.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for the great signs and wonders that will follow me today because of my faith in you.
