Kingdom Principles of Greatness 6

Proverbs 11:3, 5-6 (NIV), Proverbs 20:7 (NLT)
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. *The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for them, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires. *The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.

Integrity is about being loyal to the truth at all times and with all of your being. Integrity is about placing a high value on character and internal uprightness. Integrity is one of the fruits of having the fear of God in your heart. Your consciousness that God knows and sees everything you think, say and do makes you honour Him and think, say and do the right thing both in secret and in the open. When you are a person of integrity you are authentic and genuine. You are not one thing in secret and another thing in the open. Your words and your actions also align and are always the same no matter the condition or location.

God expects everyone; especially leaders, to be blameless and upright (1Tim.3:2&10) and one key to this is having integrity. One vital key to being a person of integrity is contentment. As God's Word declares, godliness with contentment is great gain indeed, 1Tim.6:6. In Acts 20:33 Apostle Paul declared that he did not covet any man's silver, gold or apparel, Acts 20:33. Nobody could accuse Samuel the Prophet of doing any wrong, taking anybody's possession, cheating or taking bribe from them, 1Sam.12:3-4. Integrity gives you a good name which is better than having riches, Prov.22:1. Integrity will give you things that having money cannot give you. When people discover that you have integrity they will trust you, honour you and want to associate with you. Integrity will guide and keep you on the path of life and greatness in God. Integrity will preserve your soul and even your children will benefit from your being a person of integrity.
PRAYER:  I thank you Heavenly Father, for the grace you have given me to be a person of integrity who is loyal to the truth at all times.
