Be sold out for souls 2

John 4:4-7 (GNB)
on his way there he had to go through Samaria. In Samaria he came to a town named Sychar, which was not far from the field that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired out by the trip, sat down by the well. It was about noon. A Samaritan woman came to draw some water, and Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink of water."

There are specific paths that God will allow you pass through just so that He can use you to touch the lives of certain people with the gospel of His love and saving grace. There are certain people that God will allow to come your way so that God can use you to touch them with His love and power and bring them into His family. I pray for you that you will be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit as He guides you and leads you to such people. By the Spirit of God you have been empowered to be an effective witness for Christ, Acts 1:8. All you need to increase in is the sincere desire and passion to see souls saved and the Spirit of God will lead you and use you to touch lives with the gospel of Christ which is the power of God that saves every one that believes it, Rom.1:16.

Jesus genuinely cared for the Samaritan woman who was by the well and he engaged her in a conversation. He knew what her problem was and he addressed it by His power. Despite how tired Jesus was from his journey, He just could not let this opportunity to save the woman's soul pass Him by. He was so passionate and fulfilled by doing this that when His disciples brought Him food He did not even feel hungry anymore, John 4:31-34. He then went on to say to them: “do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest, John 4:35 (NIV). As you pour out yourself to see souls saved, God is going to use you mightily to reap a great harvest of souls into His Kingdom. Pray, give and go out for soul winning. Use various mediums and materials. Be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, please help me to be more sensitive to your leading and use me to preach the gospel to sinners.
