Be sold out for souls
Mark 8:34-35 (NIV), 1Corinthians 9:22-23 (NIV)
.."If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. *To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel that I may share in its blessings.

Nothing is as important to God as our allowing the same passion that drove Christ to suffer and die on the Cross for us to drive us to do everything possible to reach out to the souls of those who are lost and dying out there in the world. Just as Jesus was willing to give up everything just to get us saved, you and I must be willing to give up everything to see to it that souls are reached with the gospel of Christ that they may be saved and receive eternal life. No sacrifice is too great to make for the souls of men, women, boys and girls to be saved.
We need to reach that point that Apostle Paul reached where he was no longer moved by anything, because he no longer counted his life dear to him. He did this so that he could finish the ministry of testifying about the gospel of the grace of God with joy, Acts 20:24.
God desires us to place the same great value that He places on a single soul that is not yet saved. He wants us to carry the same passion and burden for souls that He has. Until we do this we would not sincerely run with this gospel of salvation in Christ with the kind of passion and urgency that God expects from us. If we do not spread the gospel about what Christ did on the Cross, all that He did will be wasted. Let us pray sincerely today for God to send us and other labourers into His vineyard. Let us pray for the eyes and hearts of sinners to be open and receptive to the gospel today. Let us also step out in faith and share the gospel of salvation with someone today.

PRAYER FOCUS: Pray for souls to be saved and mention specific names if possible. Ask God to send and use you and other labourers.
