Divine Turnarounds

Isa 55:12-13 (NLT)

You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord's name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”

Five days ago we began studying Isaiah 55 and our studying today is a conclusion of the passage. What God is saying to us is that as we come to Him and incline our ears to Him and remain in close fellowship with Him, His thoughts will rain on us through His Word and we will experience so much fruitfulness in our lives that will bring about divine turnarounds.

Our text above says thorns in your life will be replaced with cypress trees. I believe you know what thorns are and I believe you will agree with me that nobody likes to see thorns growing in their lives. Now the cypress tree is a beautiful tree. It has many leaves and some of them look like what many people use as Christmas trees. The wood from this tree is very durable. It is used for various furniture and building purposes and it does not crack easily. Our text above also says nettles will be replaced with myrtles. Nettles are plants that have stinging leaves that can cause terrible irritations when it meets a human skin, while myrtles are trees with very beautiful flowers and a very lovely fragrance.

Right now, painful and irritating conditions in your life are being turned around divinely in the Name of Jesus. The price for your joy, peace, healing and wholeness has been fully paid by Jesus. As you believe Him right now, negative conditions are working in your favour. God will honour His Name in your life. You shall experience everlasting signs of His power and love for you.

PRAYER FOCUS:
Thank God for sending Jesus to pay the price for your joy and peace. Declare God's Word to situations in your life.
