It has all been laid on Christ
Genesis 20:17-18, Genesis 21:1-2
So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children. For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife. *And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Blood and water gushed out of Jesus' side when He was pierced by a soldier with a spear (while He was hanging on the cross), because His heart had ruptured, John 19:33-34. The soldier wanted to verify if Jesus was dead. Jesus was long dead before the men He was crucified with because His suffering and death were not ordinary. He was taking away the sins of the whole world, 1John 2:2. The sin, death, sickness, sorrow, pain, poverty and all evil and oppression of the devil that came upon man because of Adam's sin was laid on him and He took it away by His suffering and death on the Cross.
Jesus became sin for you, 2Cor.5:21. He became poor for you (2Cor.8:9), He took your sickness (1Pet.2:24), He became a curse for you (Gal.3:13), He suffered for you, He took your shame and humiliation, He was despised and rejected for you. A terrible criminal was released instead of Him. He died for you because the wages of sin is death. He settled all of God's demands of justice and redemption for you and then He said “it is finished”. You have been raised up to glory and the power of the devil over your life has been destroyed, Heb.2:10, 14-15. Jesus has set you free indeed. He has taken away everything that is not the will of God for your life. As you meditate on the death of Christ today, the power of God will be activated in your life and you will walk in the newness and fullness of the blessings of your redemption in Christ.
PRAYER FOCUS: Worship God and thank Him for all that Christ did for you on the Cross. Declare who you are, what you have and what you can do now because of all that Christ has done for you.
