Be Excited and Expectant
Isaiah 54:1-3 (GNB)
Jerusalem, you have been like a childless woman, but now you can sing and shout for joy. Now you will have more children than a woman whose husband never left her. Make the tent you live in larger; lengthen its ropes and strengthen the pegs! You will extend your boundaries on all sides; your people will get back the land that the other nations now occupy. Cities now deserted will be filled with people.

In the King James Version, verse 1 of our text above says, “Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD."I am pleased to inform you that unimaginable growth, increase and fruitfulness are about to manifest in your life. God has not called you to seek Him in vain, Isa.45:19. He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him, Heb.11:6. His thoughts towards you are thoughts of good and not of evil, to bring you to an expected end, Jer.29:11. What expectations do you have?
God wants you to steadily maintain hope and high expectations because He is always working out something new and good for you. He will do exceedingly and abundantly above all that you have been asking Him and reflecting upon, Eph.3:20. Because of the grace of Christ that you are grounded in, God wants you to always rejoice in the hope of the manifestation of His power and glory in your life, Rom.5:2. He wants you to remain expectant of the manifestation of His promises towards you. No matter what your state may have been, you are going to have a different story and experience. Jesus has changed your story already. So change your perspective of yourself and your situation and allow the joy of the Lord to fill your heart. Start declaring God's love and promises towards you.
PRAYER: I rejoice in You, O Lord, and I thank You for the wonderful and glorious things You are set to do in my life right now.
