Praise God in the Midst of That Storm
Habakkuk 3:17-18, Psalm 91:2-3
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. *I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

It is God's will for us in Christ Jesus to remain thankful always. 1Thessalonians 5:18 says, “in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Ephesians 5:20 says, “giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Beloved, no matter what we may be going through, we always have the advantage in Christ. God will surely cause us to triumph, 2Cor.2:14. The grace to be thankful in all situations is upon you right now in the name of Jesus.
When Abraham was tempted to stagger at the promise of God to him, he remained strong in faith simply because he chose to continually give glory to God, Rom.4:20. The four things that will help you remain thankful and praising God in the midst of every storm you may encounter are: your consciousness of the greatness and power of God, your consciousness of how much God loves you, your consciousness of the advantage you maintain in Christ and your faith that God can and will turn the situation around for your good.
See beyond your storm. Do not be overwhelmed. See God as Lord over that situation and declare it so in praises. You will come out better on the other side. Your storm cannot stop your promise. See God's power overshadowing you and manifesting in that storm. For God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what you can ask or think, according to His power at work within you, Eph.3:20.
PRAYER GUIDE: I praise and worship you, O Lord, for you are greater than my storms. I see Your great love and power at work in my life.
