The Glories of His Sufferings
1Peter 1:10-11 (NKJV)
Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.

Our salvation is so wonderful that long before Jesus came, prophets of God began to search earnestly and prophesy about the grace and glory that would be bestowed upon us by Christ and His sufferings. These are the things that the princes of this world were ignorant of when they crucified Jesus, 1Cor.2:7-8. Apostle Paul described these things as 'the hidden wisdom of God, which He ordained for our glory.' Beloved, of all men, we are most privileged to be in Christ. So much so that Jesus referenced the least of us in His Kingdom as greater than John the Baptist and every man that had lived before him, Matt.11:11. We are the joy that was set before Jesus when He endured the cross, despising the shame of His sufferings, Heb.12:2. Our redemption was the sole agenda of His crucifixion.
Everything He did was for us and now we have received great grace, power and blessings (John 1:16) as a result of His sufferings. Because of Adam's sin, we all fell short of God's glory but because of Christ's obedience, we have been raised up again to the realm of God's glory, Rom.3:23-24. Because of all Jesus did, you now have a right to experience the glory of God in every area of your life. He became poor so that you may become rich, 2Cor.8:9. He became sin so you may be justified and become the righteousness of God, 2Cor.5:21. He became a curse for you so you may be blessed, Gal.3:13-14. He took the stripes for all our sicknesses and diseases so that you can walk in healing, 1Pet.2:24.
PRAYER FOCUS: Rejoice in how privileged you are to be in Christ and thank God for all that He has done for you. Declare that the glories of Christ's sufferings are manifesting in every area of your life.
