Bearing the Fruit of the Spirit 2      WEDNESDAY   AUGUST. 2
	1John 4:17, 1Corinthians 6:17, Ephesians 5:30, John 15:4 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. *But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. *For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. *Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. One of the reasons Jesus was able to do what the Father instructed Him to do was because He remained conscious of the fact that He is one with the Father, John 10:30. In John 14:9-11, Jesus told Philip that whoever has seen Him has seen the Father. He added that He is in the Father and that the Father is in Him and as such, the works that He does is what the Father does. This strong consciousness of being one with the Father is the same consciousness that Jesus wants us to have of being one with Him. Do you realise that you are one with Jesus? We are the fruit bearing part of Christ. As people see us, they should see Jesus. He is in us and we are in Him. The works that we do are being done by Jesus through us. As believers, we do not transform ourselves. It is as we focus on the glory of Christ that the Spirit of God transforms us into the image of Christ from glory to glory, 2Cor.3:18. As He is, so are we in this world and as we keep our focus on Him, we will become more like Him by the power of His Spirit. We are the bone of His bones and the flesh of His flesh. His fullness is filling us and flowing through us, Eph.1:23. Jesus’ consciousness of His oneness with the Father caused Him to trust the Father and maintain consistent fellowship with Him. Our consciousness of our being one with Christ should causes us to trust Christ and fellowship more and more with Him. We must desire to know Him more and allow His life and nature to fill us and overflow through us into the lives of others. PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for giving me every blessing I need and for including the solution for every need I have in my redemption in Christ.
