Galatians 5:22-23a (Living Bible), 1John 4:17
But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. *He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. *Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
You maintain the ability to see and love people the way that God sees and loves them because God’s nature of love is in you. God is love (1John 4:8) and because you are born of God, love is your nature. Your understanding of God’s great love for you is what fuels the development of His nature of love in you. Ephesians 3:19 indicates that knowing the love of Christ fills us with the fullness of God. As you grow in your understanding of God’s great love, it will complete you. You will stop feeling empty and lonely. You will be full of God’s love and God’s love will flow out from you unto others.
God wants us to do everything that we do in love, including speaking the truth (Eph.4:15). Galatians 5:6 informs us that faith works by love. God’s nature of love in us causes us to remain selflessly committed to the wellbeing of others. 1Corinthians 13:4-8a (GNB) says, “love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal…” Colossians 3:13-14 (GNB) further implores us to “be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you. And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.” The more you believe that you have the ability to love like God, the more God’s love will manifest through you.
FAITH DECLARATION: I manifest God’s love nature abundantly because I am born of God and I have God’s nature of love in me.
