Stay Free From Sin
Ephesians 5:3-5 (GNB)
Since you are God's people, it is not right that any matters of sexual immorality or indecency or greed should even be mentioned among you. Nor is it fitting for you to use language which is obscene, profane, or vulgar. Rather you should give thanks to God. You may be sure that no one who is immoral, indecent, or greedy (for greed is a form of idolatry) will ever receive a share in the Kingdom of Christ and of God.

In appreciation of the precious price that Jesus paid with His blood to save and deliver us from sin and the evil ways of this world, we must continue to repel sin and the evil ways of this world. There should be no hint of sin in our lives or even the mention of it around us. We must not toy or play with sin and evil, as they are precisely what Jesus came to deliver us from. You will tolerate what you consider neutral and will hate what you consider evil, dangerous and leading to death, destruction and hell. We must call sin what God calls it and must hate what God hates.
Do not rationalize sin. Do not give yourself excuses and reasons why you can continue to live in sin. Repent (change your mind) from it immediately and run as far away from it as possible. Do not allow anyone to deceive you with the lie that you can continue to live however you want simply because of the grace of God. There is no way you will experience the will of God for this life or in eternity if you continue to give yourself over to all manner of sin and immorality. These things will only continually separate you from the life and will of God for you (Eph.4:18-19).
The grace of God makes it impossible for sin to consistently dominate your life, Rom.6:14. Rather, it causes you to deny and say no to all ungodliness, Titus 2:11-12. Jesus has set you free so do not be deceived and remain entangled. Stay free.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I receive Your grace right now to continually hate sin and to live in the liberty wherewith You have set me free.
