Trust in the Lord

Trust in the Lord

Jeremiah 17:7-8
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Author PhotoIf there is any area of your life where you do not feel blessed, ask yourself a simple question: 'Am I trusting God in this area of my life?' If you are, God's word assures us that we are blessed for trusting in God. The trust that you have in God will cause you to obey Him and follow His leading in every area of your life. Not trusting in God will cause you to trust in other things and
people that will distract you and draw you farther away from God's will for your life, Jer.17:5-6.

Often times, a lack of trust in God is a reflection of our ignorance of the truth of God's will and love for us. If you recognize how much God loves you and what His word says about you, you will trust Him for that area of your life. God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph.1:3. He has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness, 2Pet.1:3. God will perfect all that concerns you, Psa.138:8. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or imagine in that area of your life, Eph.3:20.

So what are you believing, imagining and asking God to do in that area of your life? Change your worry to hope. Change your frustration to expectation. Trust that your desire is little for God to do and He will do it abundantly because of His great love for you. Worrying does not improve your life in any way, Matt.6:27. But trusting in God will cause your life to thrust forward. Believe in God's love and believe in His promises to you. You will experience the supernatural in your life.

PRAYER FOCUS:
Thank God for His love and promises to you. Declare God's promises to yourself and declare your trust in God.
