Activate the Greater Power in You

Daniel 2:27-28, 47-48
Daniel answered ... the king, and said, … there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets,…*The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

Are you willing to stir up the abilities of God that are in you? If you are, God is more willing to show you how, by His Spirit. In Exodus 4:1-9, God taught Moses different signs and wonders to manifest in Egypt. Before Daniel revealed and interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, he might have done so for others in the past. He recognised the ability of God that was in him (Dan.1:17) and he was willing to make use of it, especially when difficulties and challenges arose, Dan.2:16. Daniel also knew how to work together with other believers to stir up God's ability in him. He asked Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to join Him to seek God for the manifestation of God's power in that situation, Dan.2:17-18.

God does not want you to be ignorant of spiritual gifts (1Cor.12:1) and His mighty power that is in you, Eph.1:17-20. Stir up the gifts of God that are in you, 2Tim.1:6. Boldly step out in faith and make use of the abilities God has given you. Start from somewhere and continue to grow. If you are faithful with little, God will give you more. You can work miracles. You can do impossible things. After Daniel revealed and interpreted the King's dream, he was greatly promoted. I see God increasing your influence as you activate His power in you and bring about solutions to situations, to the lives of those around you and to nations. I declare that what King Nebuchadnezzar said about Daniel in our text above is what people who do not know God and people of great influence will say about you.

PRAYER: Dear Father, I receive Your boldness and wisdom to stir up Your abilities in me. Use me to bring solutions to lives and nations.
