The Mystery of Divine Joy

The Mystery of Divine Joy

Joel 1:12, Philippians 4:4
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. *Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Author1 PhotoDid you know that the joy in your heart affects your increase and productivity in every area of your life? It is not the other way around. This is why you should never allow anything to rob you of the joy that God has given you in Christ. In Habakkuk 3:17, prophet Habakkuk declared, even though he would not yet see the results or productivity he was expecting, that he would continue to rejoice. That is the mindset that we too must maintain in order to be strong and to breakthrough every temporal challenge or set back that we may face.

There will always be endeavours in life that will attempt to steal, kill and destroy your joy; however, we must decide not to allow them. In the midst of all these things, you must never forget that God wants you to always have fullness of joy in His presence, Psa.16:11. He wants you to have the type of joy that will consistently overflow into the lives of others and bring them out of any pit of sorrow or depression that they may be in. Romans 8:37 says, nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. The Bible also reminds us that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all, Psa.34:19.

Jesus is Lord and His power and glory reigns in your life and situation. No matter what your situation looks like, every knee must bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord in your life. God's Word concerning your life will prevail. Rejoice in God's love and promises to you. He has given you great and precious promises that will guarantee your experience of His supernatural life and power. Rejoice about God's presence that is perpetually with you. It is well with you because God is with you.

PRAYER FOCUS: This is the day and the month that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! I will rejoice in the Lord always!
