Give Attendance to the Word
Proverbs 4:20-22 (KJV)
My son attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

So many things struggle and seek for our attention in life. Our spouses, our children, family members, job, business, academics, etc. As good as these things may be, God wants you to give utmost priority to His word. He wants you to place His word above everything else in your life, no matter the circumstance or situation. When you give God's word first place in your life, other things will fall in pleasant places for you. Your success and prosperity in life are rooted in His word. God's word is His revealed will for your life. Nothing works outside of the word. The word of God is light and this light shines in darkness and the darkness cannot comprehend it, John 1:1-4. There is therefore no problem or situation that can challenge the authority and power of the word of God. The troubles and problems confronting you will give way when you learn to attend to God's word.

Proverbs 4:22 assures us that God's word is life to you and health to all your flesh. Isn't this amazing? The WORD gives life to you and every situation around you. It will also give and bring health to all your flesh, no matter the health condition. I want you to notice that it did not say to some of your flesh, but to all your flesh. Amen! No sickness can withstand the word of God. Rather than attend to that negative situation or evil report concerning your life, children, business or family, give attendance to the word of God and before you know it, things will start to change and align to God's word. Read, study and meditate on the word of God and pray the word of God into your life. Confess and declare God's word over your life, family, career, business, ministry.
You have a glorious destiny in Christ. Your heritage is colourful and glorious. Do not be lazy, put things in order, and give the word its place in your life. As you do this the word of God will make your life honourable, glorious, beautiful, healthy and victorious.
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for Your word, I thank You for the light of Your word that is shining in my life, family, business and ministry. I pray that as I attend to Your word, my life is becoming more glorious and honourable in Jesus' name. Amen.
