New Dimensions of Favour 5

Romans 5:17 (AMP), 1 John 4:17 (GNB & KJV)
For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). ... our life in this world is the same as Christ's. *…as he is, so are we in this world.

The greatest revelation you can ever have of the favour of God is that the very same favour of God that is upon the life of Jesus is also upon your life. This means that the kind of favour that Jesus would deserve and experience if He were in your shoes is what you are empowered to experience right now in every area of your life. Consider what Jesus said while praying in John 17:23b-24: “… that the world may know that you sent me and that you love them as you love me. Father! You have given them to me, and I want them to be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory, the glory you gave me; for you loved me before the world was made”. When Jesus references a desire for us to be with Him where He is and to experience His glory, He was not referring to Heaven.

In verse 15 of this passage, Jesus specifically said He was not praying for God to take us out of this world but to keep us from the evil of this world. In this prayer, Jesus was indicating that He wants us to experience the same glory that He would experience if He were in this world. As God the Father gave Jesus glory because He loved Him, God the Father has also given you the same glory because He loves the same way He loves you Christ. So expect the same kind of favour and glory upon Christ to manifest in your life. As Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man (Luke 2:52), you too shall also increase in favour with God and man in every area of your life. Get ready for unbelievable manifestations of God's favour upon your life.

PRAYER: Thank God for the favour of Christ that is upon your life and declare that it is manifesting in every area of your life.
